Introduction of new Director of API, Mr. Chea Vantha
Dear Sir or Madam,
The Advocacy and Policy Institute (API) has an honor to introduce new leadership, Mr. Chea Vantha, Director of API who is commencing his position from 1st December 2016 as a new successor of Mr. Neb Sinthay. Mr. Sinthay will become as Senior Technical Advisor from January 2017 onward.
Prior to join with API, Mr. Vantha worked with VSO and he has more than 22 years of progressive experience in the development sector (11 years as senior management positions including four years as Country Director of VSO).
Mr. Vantha has very strong in strategy and program development and implementation, especially within the education sector, decentralization and social accountability, policy development, and youth development. As an experienced manager and leader, Mr. Vantha brings varied experiences in management and leadership, staff development and fund raising.
Currently he serves as Chairperson of Steering Committee for Working Group for Partnership in Decentralisation (WGPD) works to support the networks and decentralization reforms in Cambodia. Mr. Vantha also serves as a member of Operational Committee of Local Governance Initiative and Network (LOGIN) in Asia that promotes knowledge exchange amongst its members on practices.
API has no double for having Mr. Vantha as a new Director of API and we do hope that he will lead and make API stronger to achieve its mission and goal.
As Chairperson of API Boards, I would like to request you for your continuing support and collaboration with Mr. Vantha and API to strengthen democratic governance and social and economic development of Cambodia.
