The Road Safety Grants Programme was initiated in 2012 as part of the RS10 project, funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies and managed and administered by the Global Safety Partnership. GRSP is a hosted project of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
The purpose of the grants programme is to strengthen the capacity of NGOs to advocate for improvements in road safety policy and actions in order to reduce deaths and serious injuries as a result of road crashes.
The Advocacy and Policy Institute in partnership with the Road Safety Grants Programme recently held two public policy forums on drinking and driving in Kampong Speu and Kandal provinces.
Joint Statement on New Road Traffic Law in Cambodia
On behalf of NGOS Road Safety Working Group who is working on road safety sector, API have honor to inform you that nowadays the government is strengthening to enforce the New Road Traffic Law (NTRL) in whole country. This enforcement was negative and positive reacted by the public cause the government formed a group for amendment this NRTL. In order to contribute to effective strengthening law enforcement, we issued the statement to inform and recommend the government for decision making on this task.
