Overarching Change Goal:

Cambodia is a more harmonious and inclusive society with sustainable development through economic empowerment, better management of climate risks, inclusive policies, good governance, and respect for democratic principles and human rights.

Key Strategic Objectives:

1. Inclusive Policy, Governance & GEDSI

– Strengthen sub-national governance with GEDSI

– Enhance CSO coordination on budget transparency

– Improve citizen engagement with GEDSI focus

– Raise awareness of access to information, freedom of expression

 

2. Economic Development & Informal Economy

– Empower women and youth-led MSMEs and informal workers

– Boost smallholder farmers’ productivity and market access

 

3. Climate Action & Environmental Justice

– Increase youth/citizen climate knowledge and support initiatives/p>

– Amplify vulnerable groups’ voices on resource governance

– Support enterprises in environmental compliance

– Enhance community climate resilience and local development

– Build sub-national capacity for climate risk management

 

4. Civil Society Sustainability & Resilience

– Strengthen governance and management of API/partners

– Develop API Capacity & Consultancy as social enterprise

– Implement local fundraising for financial stability

– Expand institutional fundraising, networking, and advocacy

 

Underlying Assumptions:

– GEDSI-driven engagement of duty bearers and rights holders (women, disabled, minorities, LGBTQI+, others)

– Empower marginalized groups with skills, knowledge, resources

– Facilitate multi-stakeholder dialogue for accountability
