The “Citizens’ Voices & Actions for Sustainable Development in Cambodia” Final Report (2022) presents the achievements and impact of a three-year project led by the Advocacy and Policy Institute (API), empowering citizens, especially women, youth, people with disabilities, and marginalized groups, to actively participate in local governance, public planning, and budget advocacy across 39 districts in Cambodia. Through capacity building, dialogue facilitation, and innovative approaches such as district meetings and digital platforms, the project strengthened community-based organizations (CBOs), improved access to public information, and fostered collaboration between citizens and authorities, resulting in more transparent, inclusive, and responsive local development.
