This leadership development course is designed to empower professionals across various roles to embrace leadership as a mindset. By the end of the course, participants will be able to interpret core leadership skills, distinguish between management and leadership, and understand how their personality influences their leadership style. The course covers essential topics such as leadership traits, styles, team building, effective delegation, and mentoring. It is ideal for project officers, program managers, team leaders, brand managers, and others who are stepping beyond task execution to lead with purpose, empathy, and impact.
Dr. Oeurn Sim is a seasoned development practitioner with over 27 years of experience in social and economic development, specializing in governance reform, gender mainstreaming, institutional strengthening, and capacity building. Holding a PhD in Development Management, he has led numerous Training of Trainers (ToT) programs and facilitated leadership development for government officials, NGOs, and community leaders across Cambodia. Dr. Oeurn has worked with leading organizations, including MoEYS, World Vision, GADC, GIZ, Save the Children, and API, where he has developed training curricula, conducted research, and championed gender and human rights integration. Fluent in Khmer and English, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise, facilitation skills, and deep contextual knowledge to every training initiative.
