
Sophat Mark
In 2003, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Law at the Royal University of Law and Economic Science, followed by a Master’s degree at the BBU, focusing on Private and Business Law. I joined API at the end of 2020 as a Project Officer based in Banteay Meanchey, and I am in charge of implementing the One Window for Citizens (OW4C) project, which aims at improving public services and enhancing good governance. Previously, I worked for Winrock International, in a project related to combating human trafficking, I was a Provincial Mentor and Advisor with the National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development (NCDD), helping implement the decentralisation and de-concentration reforms. Further positions I held included that of a Legal Officer with Legal Aid Cambodia (LAC), that of Provincial Coordinator with Cambodia Women for Peace and Development (CWPD), and that of Project Assistant in a HIV and AIDS project of the Khanna NGO Alliance.
