Advancing democratic governance and inclusive development remains essential as Cambodia navigates economic transition, climate risks, and civic-space challenges. The Advocacy and Policy Institute’s Strategic Plan 2025–2028 sets a clear roadmap to strengthen citizen empowerment, responsive institutions, and sustainable systems. Built on two decades of experience, the plan defines four interlinked program objectives: inclusive policies and human rights, economic development in the informal economy, climate action and environmental justice, and civil society sustainability. Through evidence-based advocacy, capacity development, digital innovation, and constructive engagement with government and communities, API aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and GEDSI across national and sub-national governance. By 2028, the strategy seeks to contribute to a more harmonious, resilient, and inclusive Cambodia aligned with national priorities and global development frameworks.
