Youth and educational institutions in the target areas of the A-SASSY project in Phnom Penh, Battambang, Tboung Khmum, and Kampong Cham actively organized environmental activities to celebrate National Environment Day and World Environment Day 2026 under this year’s national theme, “Zero Waste.”
There are high schools, secondary schools, and universities participating in the environmental activities, with 1,276 participants, including 764 female participants. Activities included environmental knowledge sharing by AGGA youth to students, waste collection and clean-up of school compounds and surrounding communities, and the planting of 100 trees.
These activities highlight the important role of youth and educational institutions in protecting the environment and promoting green, clean, and sustainable living.
Through the A-SASSY project, the API Institute would like to sincerely thank all participating institutions, teachers, youth, students, and partners for their support and contribution to the success of these activities.
Let us continue, starting with small actions to build a cleaner, greener, and better future for the next generation.
