Support API
If you are not active in the NGO sector or happen not to live in an area where our services are available, but would like to support our activities, you can choose to help us by making a donation to our cause. We welcome even modest contributions and provide a wide range of payment methods.
Apply for an API Grant
API provides a small grant facility to community based organisations (CBOs) representing youth, women, and disadvantaged groups, in order to help them advocate on local issues. This initiative is meant to encourage citizens to join forces and engage with their local government representatives, holding them accountable and requesting improvements in the public services on offer, as well as a general atmosphere based on responsiveness and broad inclusion. At least 80 such grants will be awarded, the available amount being between 500 and 5,000 US dollars per CBO. If your youth or women’s organisation is active in local advocacy and you are interested in applying for this support scheme, you can download our call for applications here and our application form here. If you are not sure how to fill in the form, you can consult our guidelines for applicants. Please send your applications by email or in hard copy by regular post.
