Survey on How the Covid Crisis Affects Women Entrepreneurs

Recently, our WE Act project team has conducted an online survey, interviewing over 200 female street vendors on the business related issues they have been encountering during the lockdown of Phnom Penh the government implemented in response to the Covid-19 health crisis. In mid-May, more inputs were also collected from 65 NGOs that are members of the umbrella organisation CPDD, which is one of our partners in this project, as well as from small business, youth and street vendors in Siem Reap, Battambang and Phnom Penh. The final survey report will formulate key recommendations to the government and development partners to address issues of the female street vendors during this difficult time of Covid 19. This project is funded by the USAID through Pact Cambodia, and implemented by API in partnership with CPDD and IDEA.
