Small-Scale Initiatives by Local Councillors

On June 1, 2021, the Pursat Association of Local Councillors, Aide et Action (AEA) and the Advocacy and Policy Institute (API) distributed water filters to old-age citizens belonging to 40 families in the Sna Ansa commune and 40 other families in the Kampong Luong commune, in response to the noticed shortage of clean water for vulnerable groups in these target areas. One week later, vulnerable residents of the communes of Srae Sdok and Koh Chum in the district of Kandieng (Pursat province) were offered livestock to enhance their chances for a decent livelihood.
