CtGA: Mobilising Support Courses for IDEA and CamboJA

On September 20, 2021, the Change the Game Academy (CtGA) project team conducted an online training session on advocacy for participants from IDEA, an organisation representing the interests of small entrepreneurs and informal workers in urban areas. This initiative received support from Bread for the World (BfdW) and DanChurch Aid (DCA), which made it possible for members of local communities to attend the mobilising support courses. The mobilising support and advocacy plans of IDEA focus on making it easier for applicants to fill in the forms for the equity card. Our project team reviewed and discussed their plan, providing feedback meant to help them implement the plan more effectively. The next day, the same steps were undertaken online with CamboJA, an association of independent journalists, whose mobilising support plan is intended to promote the freedom of the press. Change the Game Academy is an international programme funded by the Wilde Ganzen Foundation in the Netherlands.
